Vivian Nambozo provides programme oversight and support to Montrose’s projects in-country and in other countries where Montrose is operational, including South Sudan and Sierra Leone.
Her role includes oversight and quality assurance of work plans, ensuring they are up-to-date, comprehensive and logical, ensuring contractual deliverables are of high quality and on time, managing personnel and technical teams as appropriate, ensuring monthly review of working budgets against expenditure including re-forecasting is complete, and coordinating writing of reports, proofreading and editing.
Prior to joining Montrose, Vivian worked as Project Manager on a DFID-funded project in Bidibidi refugee settlement in Yumbe, Uganda. The project aimed to build resilience among refugee communities by linking refugees to employment opportunities within and outside the settlement.
Vivian has worked in different capacities as team lead on various USAID funded projects in Northern Uganda such as the Nutrition Innovation Lab and Feed the Future. She was Senior Nutrition Consultant on the Uganda Multisectoral Food Security and Nutrition project funded by World Bank. Vivian holds an MSc in Public Health from Oxford Brookes University, UK, and an MSc in Food Biology and Nutrition from the University of Wolverhampton, UK. Vivian is fluent in English and three local languages.
