History

Montrose was established in Uganda in 2009 to provide high quality consultancy and project management services to international development agencies and private sector clients. With a focus on health, education, social development, enterprise and economic development, Montrose quickly gained a reputation of delivering bespoke, client-focused services that delivered both evidence and impact.

In our first 10 years we have expanded throughout Africa and Asia-Pacific, delivering hundreds of contracts to a wide range of donors including bilateral government aid agencies, multilateral donors, development banks and the private sector. We have developed strong networks of trusted local consultants allowing us to provide donors with an unparalleled understanding of the operating context within a country.

Our success can be seen through our delivery of increasingly complex and high value technical assistance, implementation and evaluation services across Africa and Asia. We have successfully secured prime positions on a range of key framework contracts with donors, which, along with our deep commitment to working in partnership with donors, implementing partners and national governments, provides us with a strong basis for future growth over the next 10 years.
