Montrose opened its regional Asia-Pacific office in Yangon, Myanmar, in 2014. Our work in Asia-Pacific began in 2010 with a review of a private sector client’s malaria control programme in Papua New Guinea and Indonesia. We expanded rapidly across the region into Cambodia, Myanmar, the Philippines, Solomon Islands and Vanuatu. Montrose is a founding member of the British Chamber of Commerce Myanmar.
The programmes director for Asia-Pacific is based in the Yangon office, travelling widely in the region, and is supported by several long-term staff. The office is responsible for management, development, implementation and administration of Asia-Pacific programmes.
