Ngozi Cole is Montrose’s Communications Consultant for the DFID-funded Saving Lives in Sierra Leone programme. She oversees implementation of the communications strategy including creation and dissemination of learning and knowledge materials across implementing partners as well as creation of communications tools and content for archiving and reference (website content, policy briefs, fact sheets, etc).
Ms Cole has four years of experience in research and development, with a focus on policy, gender and women’s rights, and media and communications. She previously worked with Cordaid as Communications and Partnerships Officer and Partners in Health (PIH) in Sierra Leone as a Policy and Partnerships Officer where she supported the proposal development and grant submission process for new funding opportunities on behalf of the PIH Sierra Leone team on maternal and new-born health. She also served as a liaison for partnership and development opportunities with the Ministry of Health and other development partners including Marie Stopes International, IRC, Rainbo Center and Focus 1000.
Ms Cole holds a BA with a Major in History, Minor in Political Science (cum laude) from the College of Wooster, USA, and an LLB from the University of London.
