Leonah Mbonimpa has nine years of experience working for private and public-sector institutions, at both strategic and implementation levels. At Montrose she is responsible for supporting the delivery of global programmes by leading the development of marketing and communication materials for the diverse range of projects, including project profiles, reports and updates to clients and partners, as well as internal project communications materials. She has led communications and marketing on Montrose’s component of the DFID Health Pooled Fund (HPF) in South Sudan, as well as DFID Saving Lives in Sierra Leone (SLiSL). She also oversees communication and marketing materials for the company, drawing on programme communications and selling the impact of Montrose’s diverse project portfolio.
Prior to working at Montrose, Leonah worked as a Communications Specialist in a consultancy role for the World Bank in Uganda, during which she was tasked with developing and implementing a communications strategy for the Natural Capital Accounting (NCA) programme. She also worked at Uganda Government IT Agency NITA as Communications Officer. Leonah has a BA in Mass Communication from Makerere University, Uganda, and an MA in Corporate Communication from Bournemouth University, UK. She also has a Post Graduate Diploma in Marketing Management from the Uganda Management Institute.
