Jennifer Karki has worked in the development sector in South Asia for over 10 years, with a proven track record in business development, donor relations, organisational communication and programme management. Jennifer initially worked as a programme manager on anti-child trafficking and education projects, before moving across to business development and donor relations.
Jennifer has worked with a wide-range of NGOs, INGOs and UN agencies, and has spent extensive time in the field. Jennifer’s experience has included developing anti-trafficking, gender-based violence, child marriage and reproductive health projects and securing funding for projects across a wide range of programmatic areas, from donors including FCDO, USDA, DFAT, USAID and UNODC.
Prior to joining Montrose, Jennifer was Head of External Relations for a UN agency in Nepal, with responsibility for identifying and leading funding opportunities, maintaining donor relations, communications and reporting.
Jennifer holds a Master’s Degree in International Development: Poverty, Conflict and Reconstruction from the University of Manchester, UK, a BA in International Relations from the University of Birmingham, UK, and is studying for an MSc in Global Health. Jennifer is based in Nepal.
