Emily Miller provides business development, administration and human resources support to Montrose’s programmes and operations. Her role includes leading and contributing to proposals for multiple clients in the education, health and livelihoods fields, including evaluations and implementation contracts. She also leads Montrose’s position as a DFID IMDP framework holder, including coordinating partner engagement and proposal development.
Prior to joining Montrose, Emily undertook an internship at the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) Secretariat and was a member of the UN external communications team during the COP23 conference. Emily was also an assistant English teacher in the Isan region of Thailand, as part of an education project implemented by the British Council and the Thai Ministry of Education, and was a member of a community organisation in Brussels involved in integrating asylum seekers into society.
Emily holds an MA from KU Leuven, Belgium, and an MA (Hons) from the University of Edinburgh, UK. Emily is a native English speaker with a working knowledge of French and German.
